House of Cylinders Amid the Woods

Ar. Cyril Lancelin imagined a futuristic and distinctive residential design near Lyon, France. What makes the design of the house differ from others is the single shape cylindrical structure. The cylinder house is designed to fit amid the trees. The design plan is based on a juxtaposition of a simple element, a cylinder. This cylinder can be opened, semi-open, closed making it an open plan. This house does not have corridors or windows; there is a play of height offset on the cylinders to also provide delimitation by the height of the ceilings.
