Tesla unveils solar panel roof tiles

The US-based automaker and energy storage company Tesla has recently unveiled its new glass solar roof tiles that not only generate solar energy but look stunning! Made from quartz glass, the tiles are available in four variants - Textured Glass, Slate Glass, Tuscan Glass, and Smooth Glass. While all the four bears resemblance to currently available roofing materials, each of them offers a different aesthetic look. While the use of tempered glass makes it durable the Color louvre film allows the solar cells to blend into the roof while exposing them to the sun above. The cells are not visible to the eye from the street.
