From Fungus to Light

This project is a result of ongoing material research in mycelium – the vegetative part of the fungus – resulting in the design of table lamps collection. Inside a mould, the mycelium consumes organic and synthetic waste as it grows under controlled conditions. The way mycelium consumes waste could have highly significant implications on the way we can dispose of synthetic waste.
