A ROOOARING Carpet by Designer Andrey Budko

HEAR MY ROOOAR is a wool felt trophy carpet with CNC embroidery. It was first shown at Salone Satellite 2019. It is the next chapter of Andrey Budko, a product designer from Russia's project CARPET LIKE A RUSSIAN (the first part won a special mention at Salone Satellite Moscow 2018 Awards). This carpet researches the evolution of technologies and cultural heritage in the modern world. It is the result of a study of northern Russian traditional crafts and the fairy-tale bestiary.
