Glimpses from Venice Biennale 2018

The history of the La Biennale di Venezia dates back from 1895, when the first International Art Exhibition was organized. In the 1930s, new festivals were born: Music, Cinema, and Theatre. In 1980, the first International Architecture Exhibition took place, and in 1999 Dance made its debut at La Biennale. The 16th International Architecture Exhibition, titled FREESPACE, curated by Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara and organized by La Biennale di Venezia chaired by Paolo Baratta, opened gates for the public from Saturday May 26th to Sunday November 25th 2018, at the Giardini and the Arsenale in Venice, Italy.
